A Must-Attend Event for Food Lovers
Sarlat, famous for its medieval heritage and lively markets, will become the stage for a true festival of the senses. The picturesque streets of the town will come alive with stalls featuring local producers, offering a wide range of regional products. Cheeses, foie gras, truffles, and of course, wines from the Southwest will be the stars of the show.

On Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime, attendees will be able to savor delicious regional dishes, including grilled lamb, lamb merguez, enchaud (roast pork), Sarlat potatoes, walnut cakes, as well as ice creams and sorbets. These meals will be paired with local wine and beer, while the festivities continue with a lively guinguette atmosphere, led by Nathalie Grellety and her orchestra, inviting visitors to dance and fully enjoy the friendly ambiance.
A Gourmet Hike for Taste Adventurers
On Sunday morning, a special activity awaits outdoor enthusiasts with a gourmet hike. The departure will be from Vitrac, and participants will follow a marked trail through woodlands, arriving at the Place de la Grande Rigaudie in Sarlat. Along the way, several stops will offer well-deserved breaks, featuring tastings of local products.
Departures for the hike are organized in small groups at 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, and 9:00 AM. Shuttle buses will be available from the Place de la Grande Rigaudie in Sarlat, in front of the courthouse, or participants can head directly to Vitrac. The return to Sarlat is scheduled at 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 2:30 PM, also from Place de la Grande Rigaudie.
